As I said a while ago, I had a huge surprise that I couldn't share until May. Well, it's May, and while most of you probably already know, my surprise is...........I got to do a photo shoot with the amazing "Hillbilly Jig Band"......the Turnpike Troubadours!
You might ask why I had to wait till May.....well duh......their new cd "Goodbye Normal Street" releases May 8th!
Having the opportunity to do the photo shoot with the boys has been such an awesome experience, not only is one of my photos being used on their new cd but also my photos have been used for their marketing materials!
One of my photos was first used on MTV's Hive Website.
Then today I found out that the same photos was used in today's edition of the Wall Street Journal!
The band consists of a group of old friends of Kyle and mine. (Above L to R - Evan Felker, Ryan Engleman, Gabriel Pearson, Kyle Nix, and RC Edwards)
I highly recommend everyone, if you haven't already, get your hands on one of their cds. Their music is some of the best music that your ears have ever heard and is just as good live if not better! Believe me when I say that you haven't experienced a concert until you've gone to see the Turnpike Troubadours....LIVE! The floor will be bouncing from all the boot stomping!
Have I said that I love my job? I feel so blessed for all the opportunities that have come my way this past year and can't wait to see what else is to come in the future!
